LBJ Teacher trip #2: Mr. Zaccaria and Ms. Carpenter go to Costa Rica

LBJ Social Studies teacher Tim Zaccaria asked his students to dream big with a series of questions:

  • Have you ever taken a boat ride near live alligators?
  • Have you even gone zip lining in the mountains?
  • Have you even gone swimming in hot springs next to an active volcano?

These are just some of the activities planned for the tour of Costa Rica tentatively set for June 4-12, 2018. Zaccaria and Language Arts teacher Patty Carpenter met with interested students and parents Dec. 7 and 8 to gauge interest and start planning for this once in a lifetime event.

Contact Tim Zaccaria 898-1492 (ext. 40582)/Room L-23 or Patty Carpenter 898-1492 (ext. 40571)/Room G-4 for more information.
